Thanks for participating in Offset My Ride. Here we describe how we collect, use, and handle your information when you use our app (“Service”).
We collect and use the following information to provide the Service:
Ride History. The Service collects your ride history in order to calculate the distance you traveled in the calendar year of 2016. Additionally, we collect ride locations to give you statistics about your year in ridesharing.
Payment. The Service uses Stripe as a payment provider which securely processes your order. We do not have access to your payment information whatsoever.
None of your data is disclosed or shared with outside parties.
Security. Our communication with Uber and Lyft’s API service is secure and encrypted with the HTTP SSL protocol.
Data Retention. Once we calculate the total distance you traveled with the rideshare services and determine your offset price, we permanently delete this information and no longer collect any additional information about your Uber or Lyft accounts.
We may revise this Privacy Policy from time to time, and will post the most current version on our website.
